Student Residence
Mohyla Institute is a non-profit student residence located just off of the University of Saskatchewan campus. Our purpose it is to provide post-secondary students with a secure, clean, comfortable, and supportive living environment that enhances cooperative community living and students’ personal, social, and academic development.
All students are welcome to live with us, whether they are attending university, college, or a trade school.
Mohyla Institute’s 110th Anniversary

We were delighted to bring together different generations of the Mohyla community to celebrate our 110th anniversary!
The evening was filled with warmth and connection. In the best Ukrainian traditions, we shared songs and created a joyful atmosphere that reminded us of the strength and beauty of our culture. We were especially proud of our two students, who performed on the bandura together with their teacher, Oksana Hushliak. It was truly inspiring to see what they have accomplished in just one year.
We also had the pleasure of recognizing and celebrating our graduating residents, marking an important milestone in their journey and wishing them continued success in all that lies ahead.
It was a wonderful evening filled with meaningful moments, memories, laughter, and a strong sense of community.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us in making this celebration so special.
Cultural Programming & Events
Along with providing housing for post-secondary students, part of our vision is to be a Ukrainain cultural centre. To that end, we organize and support youth, language, and cultural programs, and serve as a resource to Ukrainian organizations. We provide Ukrainian language classes, bandura classes, and house childrens camps. Please take a look at our current offerings!
