In 1918, the students organized a Literary Society, naming it “Kameniari” (stone-cutters) based on a
poem of the same name by famous Ukrainian author Ivan Franko. This society provided students with
the opportunity to express themselves and develop abilities as future leaders.
The Kameniari are a student society that still operates at the Mohyla Institute. They are responsible for planning events and activities for the Mohyla students during the academic year.
Past events include: skating, bowling, movie nights, Halloween party, bbq’s, etc.
If you have suggestions for what you would like to see happen throughout the year, please contact a member of the executive.
